Discover this practical bath-to-walk-in-shower conversion by Mr Useful Bathrooms, featuring marble-effect shower wall panels and a carefully installed low-profile shower tray.
The original bath was positioned in an alcove and has been replaced with a spacious shower enclosure. By fitting the shower tray down onto the floor joists, the finished step into the shower was reduced to approximately 20 mm.
Bathroom features:
- Existing alcove bath removed
- 1700 × 760 mm low-profile shower tray
- Shower tray lowered into the floor structure to minimise the entry step
- Approximately 20 mm step into the shower
- Marble-effect shower wall panels
- Chrome corner trims and end caps
- Large 1200 × 2000 mm wet room shower screen to help contain splashing
- Dual-outlet shower with overhead rainfall-style showerhead
- Practical corner shower basket
This bathroom renovation demonstrates how careful planning and installation can create a more accessible showering arrangement while maintaining a stylish, modern appearance.
The marble-effect shower panels provide an attractive alternative to traditional tiling, with a smooth, easy-to-maintain finish.
